Data Collection

Balchemy collects only the data necessary to provide the trading platform services. Authentication is wallet-based; we collect your public wallet address (Solana or EVM) when you connect. We do not collect passwords, email addresses, or personal identifiers beyond your wallet address and any optional Telegram or Discord account you choose to link.

We collect trading activity data (orders, executions, portfolio positions) to operate the platform and display your history. We also collect usage telemetry (error logs, performance metrics) via our observability stack to maintain service reliability.

Data Usage

Your data is used exclusively to operate and improve the Balchemy platform. Specifically:

Wallet addresses are used to authenticate sessions and sign on-chain transactions.
Trading data is used to display your portfolio, history, and bot performance.
Error telemetry is used to diagnose and fix platform issues.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage

Your data is stored on Balchemy infrastructure hosted on Hetzner VPS (EU). Data is retained for as long as your account is active. Wallet-linked session tokens are short-lived and revocable at any time from your account settings.

All sensitive values (private keys, signing keys) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We do not store private keys in plaintext.

User Rights

You have the right to:

Access the data associated with your wallet address.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Revoke any linked integrations (Telegram, Discord) at any time from settings.
Revoke all API keys issued under your account instantly from the Hub.

Because authentication is wallet-based, account ownership is verified by cryptographic signature — not by email or password recovery. Ensure you retain control of your wallet.
